We conducted a 6-week workshop with courses in EV3, Python, and Java. The workshop was held every Saturday from July 6 – August 10 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm at a library in Loudoun County, VA.

Girl Scout Workshop – May 21, 2019
Three of our volunteers taught an Introduction to EV3 workshop to the Girl Scout Troop at Buffalo Trail Elementary School. Each volunteer taught a group of 3-4 girls with one EV3 robot. After working through the lesson, the groups had a competition to see who made the most unique or funniest program for the robot.

WRO Workshop at McLean Islamic Center – March – May, 2019
We formed four teams to participate in World Robot Olympiad Regional Competition on May 11, 2019. We taught them the basics of EV3 building and programming and prepared them for the competition.

We held 2 workshops for Scratch and EV3 Programming at the McLean Islamic Center. We taught around 24 kids and it was a great experience.

Summer Workshops – July 14, 21, 28, 2018
We hosted workshops during the month of July at libraries in Chantilly and Sterling, Virginia. We taught around 50 kids throughout our 5 sessions in the following classes:
- Introduction to Java Programming
- Beginner – Intermediate Java Programming
- Introduction to EV3 Robotics
- Beginner – Intermediate EV3 Robotics

WRO Workshop – June 9, 2018
We held a robotics and programming workshop at Nysmith School during the World Robot Olympiad Regionals Competition. It was great to see and teach all the hardworking, interested girls. We taught almost 60 students and overall it was a successful first event!
